Lions and Leos are committed to caring for our environment. We can all help with environment related issues in one way or another, whether your Club partakes or a Lion does it individually. Anything from tree planting, to recycling products to litter-picking.  All works towards a healthier and cleaner environment. Purchase and use of biodegradable products is encouraged along with creating a composting area, where food waste can be turned into compost that can be used within schools. Several Lions Clubs are working either alongside organisations and schools in an effort to improve our environment in the long term. Collection and recycling of not just the obvious items, but even those of spectacles, batteries, cartridges – all helps towards a more eco-friendly future and environment for all. 

Some the of projects going on with Lions
