Hunger
Is a big concern both nationally and internationally. Lions Clubs do several projects and activities to try and eliminate hunger. The services vary from donations, to food banks to soup kitchens and distribution of food parcels. All organisations from schools to shelters to care homes and foodbanks are served with food donations of both perishable and non-perishable items. Lions Clubs have teamed up with various supermarkets who have agreed to donate the surplus food in order to try and put an end to hunger. 
Lions are very instrumental in arranging for collection of foods to be distributed to where the service is needed. Several successful projects have taken off and Lions continue to do this wonderful service.
